Apple Crisp

Ingredients

  • 8 each Apples Peeled and sliced
  • 1 each Juice of one lemon
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons Whole wheat flour
  • 3/4 cup Raisins
  • Water or apple juice To cover bottom
  • 1 cup Oats
  • 1/3 cup Wheat germ
  • 1/2 cup Whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Margarine

Instructions

  1. Mix the first 5 ingredients, through the raisins. Place mixture in a greased 9“ X 13“ casserole dish. Add water or apple juice.
  2. Mix the remaining ingredients. Press topping mixture on top of apple mixture. Bake, covered for 20 minutes at 375 degrees. Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes.
