Apple Crumble
Ingredients
- 6 bunch Apples sliced
- 300 grams Plain Flour Sifted
- 200 grams Brown sugar
- 200 grams Butter
- 1 pinch Cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4.
- Grease the baking tray with butter
- Peel and slice the apples into thin slices and spread them across the baking tray
- Sprinkle some brown sugar on top of the apples
- Place the flour and sugar in a large bowl and mix well.
- Taking a few cubes of butter at a time rub into the flour mixture. Keep rubbing with hands until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
- Pour breadcrumbs mixture over the fruit mixture and evenly distribute
- Sprinkle the Cinnamon on top of the crumble
- Bake in the oven for 30 - 40 minutes until top is brown
