Apple Crumble

Ingredients

  • 6 bunch Apples sliced
  • 300 grams Plain Flour Sifted
  • 200 grams Brown sugar
  • 200 grams Butter
  • 1 pinch Cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4.
  2. Grease the baking tray with butter
  3. Peel and slice the apples into thin slices and spread them across the baking tray
  4. Sprinkle some brown sugar on top of the apples
  5. Place the flour and sugar in a large bowl and mix well.
  6. Taking a few cubes of butter at a time rub into the flour mixture. Keep rubbing with hands until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
  7. Pour breadcrumbs mixture over the fruit mixture and evenly distribute
  8. Sprinkle the Cinnamon on top of the crumble
  9. Bake in the oven for 30 - 40 minutes until top is brown
