Taffy Apple Salad
Ingredients
- 1 Tablespoon Flour
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1 Large Egg Beaten
- 2 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 8 Ounce Can Pineapple Crushed
- 4 Cups Granny Smith Apples Unpeeled
- 1 Cup Peanuts Dry Roasted Chopped
Instructions
- 1. Drain the pineapple and reserve the juice.
- 2. Place flour, sugar, vinegar, egg and pineapple juice in a 2 quart sauce pan. Cover over medium heat, stirring until thick: Cool.
- 3. When the mixture is cool fold in Cool Whip, apples and pineapple.
- 4. Before Serving fold in 1/2 Cup Chopped Peanuts. Garnish on top with 1/2 cup chopped peanuts.
