Taffy Apple Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Large Egg Beaten
  • 2 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 8 Ounce Can Pineapple Crushed
  • 4 Cups Granny Smith Apples Unpeeled
  • 1 Cup Peanuts Dry Roasted Chopped

Instructions

  1. 1. Drain the pineapple and reserve the juice.
  2. 2. Place flour, sugar, vinegar, egg and pineapple juice in a 2 quart sauce pan. Cover over medium heat, stirring until thick: Cool.
  3. 3. When the mixture is cool fold in Cool Whip, apples and pineapple.
  4. 4. Before Serving fold in 1/2 Cup Chopped Peanuts. Garnish on top with 1/2 cup chopped peanuts.
