Apple Crisp

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Apples peeled and cored
  • 1/2 cup Margarine
  • 1 cup Quick Oats
  • 2/3 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup All purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Grease 8x8 pan.
  3. Place apples in pan.
  4. Melt margarine in skillet, add oats, then sauté.
  5. Stir consistently for 3 minutes.
  6. Mix sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt; stir into margarine/oats.
  7. Spread mixture over apples; sprinkle with water.
  8. Bake @ 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
  9. Doesn’t usually take 30 minutes.
