Caramel Apple Crumble Cheesecake Dip

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces low fat cream cheese
  • 1 cup greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 6 cups apple, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats (gluten-free for gluten-free)
  • 1/2 cup flour (gluten-free for gluten-free)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup walnuts (or pecans), chopped
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Mix everything well.
  2. Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat, add the apples and cook until just tender, about5-8 minutes.
  3. Mix everything until it forms small chunks, spread them out in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated 350F/180C over until lightly golden brown, about 6-10 minutes, mixing a few times in between.
  4. Place the cheesecake mixture in the bottom of the serving dish(es), top with the caramel apples, the crumbs, walnuts and the caramel sauce and enjoy by the spoonful or on crackers, etc.
