Apple Crumble

Ingredients

  • 5 c apples Peeled,sliced
  • 1/2 c Butter room temp
  • 1 c All purpose flour
  • 3/4 c Quick cooking oats
  • 1/2 c Walnuts chopped
  • 1/4 ts Nutmeg
  • 3/4 c Brown sugar packed
  • 1/4 ts Salt
  • 1 ts Cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Arrange apple slices n bottom of 2 qt casserole dish. In mixing bowl,combine flour, oats,sugar,walnuts, salt,nutmeg,and cinnamon. Cut in butter, blending until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle mixture evenly over apples. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
