Apple Crumble
Ingredients
- 5 Large Apples green
- 1/4 cup caster sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup self-raising flour
- 1/4 cup plain flour
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 100 grams butter COLD
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180c. Grease deep 1.5 litre baking dish.
- Peel, core & quarter apples. Cook apples, sugar & water in large saucepan over low heat, covered about 10 minutes. Drain.
- Crumble - rub butter into flour stir in other ingredients (sugar and cinnamon)
- Place apples into dish, sprinkle over crumble mixture.
- Bake for approx 25 minutes.
