Apple Crumble

- 6 apples peeled and sliced
- juice of a lemon
- 200 gms butter melted
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups plain flour
- 1 cup of rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F)
- Peel and slice the apples and place them in a well greased ovenproof dish.
- Squeeze the lemon juice over the top and mix it through the apple slices.
- In a separate bowl melt the butter completely.
- Add the brown sugar and mix gently.
- Add the flour, oats and cinnamon and mix well.
- Spoon the crumble mixture over the apples and bake in a moderate oven for 40-50 minutes or until the top is golden and the apples are cooked.
