Apple Crumble

Ingredients

  • 6 apples peeled and sliced
  • juice of a lemon
  • 200 gms butter melted
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups plain flour
  • 1 cup of rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F)
  2. Peel and slice the apples and place them in a well greased ovenproof dish.
  3. Squeeze the lemon juice over the top and mix it through the apple slices.
  4. In a separate bowl melt the butter completely.
  5. Add the brown sugar and mix gently.
  6. Add the flour, oats and cinnamon and mix well.
  7. Spoon the crumble mixture over the apples and bake in a moderate oven for 40-50 minutes or until the top is golden and the apples are cooked.
