Apple and Rhubarb Crumble
Ingredients
- 3 cups rhubarb, chopped into 2-3 cm pieces
- 2 apples, peeled and chopped (I use Granny Smiths)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 -1 1/2 cup water
- 1 1/3 cups self-raising flour
- 1/3 cup oats
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 50 g cold butter, chopped into small pieces
Instructions
- Place filling ingredients into an ovenproof casserole dish.
- Pulse crumble ingredients until mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
- Sprinkle the mix evenly over the rhubarb and apple mixture.
- Bake at 170C degrees for 30 minutes.
