Mixed Apple Salad over Greens
Ingredients
- 2 cups Granny Smith apple chopped
- 2 cups Cameo or Braeburn apple chopped
- 1/4 cup (1 oz.) Blue Cheese crumbled
- 2 bacon slices cooked and crumbled
- 4 cups Mixed greens
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon oil
- 1 dash salt
- 1 dash Freshly ground pepper
Instructions
- Prepare dressing first by combining all five dressing ingredients in a small bowl. Stir well with a whisk.
- Combine apples, cheese and bacon. Drizzle dressing over apple mixture, and toss gently to coat. Serve over greens.
