Microwave Apple Crumble

Ingredients

  • Apple Filling
  • 1 apple diced
  • 1/2 tbsp butter or coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp corn starch
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Topping
  • 1 tbsp butter or coconut oil
  • 1/2 tbsp maple syrup or sugar
  • 2 tbsp oats
  • 2 tbsp oat flour (or all purpose flour)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl mix together topping ingredients until a crumble forms, set aside
  2. In a seperate small microwave safe dish combine apple filling ingredients and stir
  3. Microwave filling for about 30 seconds to soften the apples
  4. Remove from microwave, top with the crumble topping and microwave for about 2 minutes until top is a little crispy and filling looks cooked (start watching carefully at 1 min 30 seconds as every microwave is different).
  5. Top with ice cream and more apples and enjoy
