Apple Crumble

Ingredients

  • 2/3 c Quick-cooking oats
  • 3 pk Frozen escalloped apples;
  • 3 tb Chilled stick margarine; cut
  • 1/3 c Firmly packed brown sugar;
  • 12 oz Each

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 375?. 2. Combine oats, 4 tablespoons brown sugar, and flour; cut in margarine with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Set aside. 3. Remove plastic film from apples. Place 3 packages apples in microwave oven; microwave at HIGH 11 minutes or until partially thawed. Spoon apples into an 8-inch square baking dish. Add remaining brown sugar; stir well. Sprinkle oat mixture over apple mixture. Bake at 375? for 40 minutes or until apple mixture is bubbly and topping is golden. Yield: 8 servings.
